There are moments in life when you are out of energy.
So out of energy that everything you do feels like a burden, even just getting out of bed. This is your body telling you that you’ve kept going for too long and is now forcing you to slow down.
And you should listen to your body - your body knows you better than you!
So, take a step back, take a breath, and just slow down for a bit. Take some days off from work, stay in bed, read a book, play games - do whatever it is you enjoy and that gives you joy. And yes, it is absolutely okay to do nothing. This is not you being lazy; this is you taking care of yourself. And no, you don’t have to feel bad for taking some days off from work. It is the same as when you’d stay at home with the flu.
It is absolutely valid to feel the need for a break and then to get one! And you NEVER have to feel bad about this.
So, the next time you feel like this, try to remember: IT IS OKAY! And then just take care of yourself and don’t worry about anything else. Just do what gives you joy and is good for you, and you’ll see the energy will come back all by itself.
Just give yourself some time.
